Holiday House Bazaar
This is an annual two-day holiday event hosted by the United Methodist Women with the help of the congregation. The Bazaar features handcrafted gifts, great food, and a good time of fellowship.
YOU ARE INVITED by the United Methodist Women and friends to attend and enjoy the annual HOLIDAY HOUSE BAZAAR to be held November 6 and 7.
FRIDAY – NOVEMBER 6 – 9:00am to 3:00pm. Shopping opportunities are available all during the day. Lunch will be served from 11:00am-1:00pm,
featuring Patton’s famous soup, homemade sandwiches, salads, and desserts prepared by many of our members. You may also find delectable delights in the Victorian Tea Room.
SATURDAY – NOVEMBER 7 – 9:00am to 2:00pm will be a second day of shopping for gifts and treasures, and a quiet respite will be found in the Victorian Tea Room.
Come and browse through the Christmas Boutique, The Country Store, and The Pantry on the main level. Downstairs you will find the Book Nook across from the Tea Room. Please come and bring your friends and enjoy the two days of the HOLIDAY HOUSE BAZAAR.
WHY DO WE HAVE A BAZAAR?
Where does the money go? Each year, people ask this question when we host the Bazaar. The United Methodist Women (with help from everyone) raise the money for our Pledge to Missions. The mission projects include local, national, and worldwide ministries to assist in meeting human needs, with special emphasis on women, children, and youth. We have chosen to give additional monies as we continue to be aware of current needs.
BAZAAR CONTRIBUTIONS
The UMW members are not the only contributors of items for the Bazaar. All church members and friends are invited to bring books for the Book Nook (early that week) and handmade crafts and foods. Please bring your craft items to the church the week prior to the Bazaar. Food items may be brought on Thursday, November 5 – clearly marked with prices. More foods for The Pantry may be brought on Saturday morning the 7th. We appreciate and welcome your donations. Thank you.
