Beyond the Black and White Answers In a Complex World:

Politicians, pundits and even preachers often paint the world in black and white. Every one and every thing is placed into neatly-organized boxes with labels like: conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, for or against the war, pro-this or pro-that. Entire states are painted as red or blue.

Are you hungry for solutions that don't fit into a sixty-second sound bite?

The scriptures offer us support for how we live, love, and make important decisions in a complex world during this election year. And we can think for ourselves, seriously consider both sides of an issue, and live courageously and faithfully in the midst of it all.

(Based on the sermon series “Seeing Gray: Faith, Morality and Politics in a Black and White World” by Rev. Adam Hamilton).
